Key Dates:

Applications due: Friday 15 August 2014 at 5pm

The twice-yearly allocated Project Fund enables Western Australian regional, remote or very remote communities or artists to partner with arts and cultural leaders to create high quality arts activities. Projects funded will deliver long term benefits to the community by developing cultural networks, building capacity and offering professional development.

  • Do you have an arts idea?
  • Are you a regional West Australian; artist, not for profit organisation, community group or Local Government?
  • Are there benefits for the community?
  • Is there an opportunity to develop skills?

Funding can cover the cost of artist fees, accommodation, travel, materials, publicity, documentation and any other costs associated with the project.

Applicants can choose from two categories:

1. Individual - up to $10,000 (or up to $15,000 above the 26th parallel/very remote).  This is available for individual artists or arts workers from regional and remote Western Australia who have identified a unique professional development opportunity.

2.  Community - up to $15,000 (or up to $20,000 above the 26th parallel/very remote).  This is available for not-for-profit organisations or local Governments from regional and remote Western Australia to employ professional artists in a creative arts project that engages their community.
